I've always been early to things. Early to ecommerce. Early to Amazon. Early to building websites. But I never went all in. Every time I saw a wave, I'd ride it for a bit and then retreat to what felt safe. A corporate career at a Fortune 500, building an ice cream franchise, selling on Amazon.
It wasn't because I didn't believe in the opportunity. It was self-doubt. I'd convince myself I wasn't technical enough, wasn't ready enough, wasn't the right person to go after it. So I'd default to the most comfortable path. It worked, but I always knew I was leaving something on the table.
Every idea I had needed a developer, a frontend, a backend, infrastructure I didn't fully understand. So the ideas stayed ideas. And the self-doubt kept winning.
Then AI changed everything.
For the first time, I don't need to hire a team to test an idea. I have a developer with infinite knowledge sitting next to me called Claude. I can think of a problem in the morning and have a working solution by night. The gap between idea and execution basically disappeared.
And with that gap gone, the self-doubt lost its best argument.
I thrive in the zero to one. Creating new things, thinking about hard problems, finding different ways to solve them. AI unlocks that completely.
The way I see it
We're living through the same shift that ecommerce created. Before ecommerce, you needed a factory, a storefront, and inventory to sell anything. Then Shopify showed up and you could start for $9.99 a month. That same shift is happening with software right now. You don't need a dev team anymore. You just need a problem worth solving.
This time is different. I'm going all in.
I run 20+ ice cream shops. I build software with AI. And I'm documenting everything I learn along the way. What works, what doesn't, and what I'd do differently.
If you've ever had an idea you couldn't build, or talked yourself out of going after something because you didn't feel ready, this site is for you. Come build with me.
When I'm not working, I'm traveling with my family or playing squash and padel.
